In the Know

yayas using cell phones to stay connected

Power

YAYAs fine pleasure in telling people what they have learned. Information is power and power if coveted by YAYAs everywhere. YAYAs detest feeling out of the loop and will do whatever it takes to stay in it.

Immediate Access

YAYAs crave immediate access to all different types of information. They use outside sources like pop culture magazines and fashion websites to determine what is "cool."

Social tool

YAYAs attachment to the Internet, especially its role as a social tool is very addictive. They do not want to feel disconnected from the internet for too long and feel completely lost when they are not connected to the world around them.
